Congratulations to Professor Yuen Kwok Kit Richard for his awarded General Research Fund (GRF) 2022-2023 with the project entitled "Artificial Neural Network Based Dual-functional System for Thermal and Fire Safety Management for Lithium-ion Batteries".
 
It aims to develop an innovative ANN-based dual-functional battery thermal management system (BTMS) for Lithium-ion Batteries to improve thermal and fire safety management. The project's outcome will contribute to a pioneering study to design and optimize an advanced ANN-based dual-functional BTMS, which may provide new references and guidance for future BTMS design.
