Congratulations to Prof. Liew Kim Meow successfully received the funding support from the RGC's Strategic Topics Grant (STG) for his project

We are delighted to announce that Prof. Liew Kim Meow successfully received the funding support from the RGC's Strategic Topics Grant (STG) for his project, “Tomorrow is Now: Eco-friendly Autonomous Construction through Sustainable 3D Concrete Printing”. The overall objective of this proposed project was to furnish the construction sector in Hong Kong with a complete system of automated, robust, and cost-effective 3DCP technology that uses sustainable building materials and produces minimal waste to reduce the environmental impacts. The project secured a funding amount of HKD 30M and so far was the only project which received the funding in the area of “Innovative and Environmental-friendly Construction Technologies and Materials”. Congratulations to Prof. Liew for his remarkable achievement in driving innovation and sustainability in the construction sector!
