The built environment is facing urgent challenges in the context of an aging society.  This conference aims to build a communication platform that brings together academic researchers, elderly care service providers and industry experts to develop innovative solutions to optimize the built environment and enhance the quality of life of the elderly. It is expected will advocate the establishment of standards for an age-friendly built environment and promote active participations of organizations, communities and other social groups in the overall development of a harmonious and vibrant age-friendly society.  The mini-conference includes four sub-themes through an interdisciplinary perspective:

2. Architectural Design & Health

3. Care Facilities & Services

4. Public Policy & Standardization
