Dr. Calvin Keung is a quantity surveyor (QS) by profession and a member of the highly commended QS Team at the RICS Awards 2022. He is also a CIC-Certified BIM Manager (CCBM) and one of the BIMers recognised at the CIC’s Celebration of BIM Achievement 2020. Moreover, Dr. Keung is the BIM Developer of the ACE Department, and his collaborative approach to BIM education led to the development of an interdisciplinary BIM lab at CityU. As a result of his innovative initiatives and dedication to BIM education, Dr. Keung received the Teaching Application Award from the 4th International BIM Award Conference in 2018, the Outstanding Teaching Award from the College of Engineering of CityU in 2020, and the Innovative CityU-Learning Award from CityU in 2020. Additionally, Dr. Keung and his research team received the Merit Award for their MiC research at the Hong Kong openBIM/openGIS Awards 2022.
