The Department of Management Sciences of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) will hold a press conference on the Cross-strait, Hong Kong and Macao Consumer Confidence Index for the First Quarter of 2024. The main purpose is to unveil the index results for the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions for the first quarter of 2024.
Since 2008, the department has published the quarterly Hong Kong Consumer Confidence Index, which since 2009, has been incorporated into the Cross-strait, Hong Kong, and Macao Consumer Confidence Index. This year commemorates the 15th anniversary of the release of the Index and marks the first-ever related press conference held in Hong Kong.
Speaking at the event are Professor Wu Weixing, President of the Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB); Professor Ren Tao, Dean of the Business School, CUEB; Professor Alan Wan Tze-Kin, Head of Department of Management Sciences, CityUHK; Professor Geoffrey Tso Kwok-fai, Associate Professor and Director of the Statistical Consulting Unit, CityUHK; Professor Liu Cheng Kun, Professor and Director of the Institute of Sustainable Development, Macao University of Science and Technology; and Professor Shia Ben Chiang, Vice President of Resources and Career Development, Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan.
