CityU forum discusses offenders’ reintegration into the community
A cross-sector forum at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) brought together CityU experts, government officials and offender support organisations to discuss how to help offenders reintegrate into the community and give recognition to volunteers who participate in offender services.

The Non-Government Organisation (NGO) Forum 2012 cum Outstanding NGO Volunteer Award Presentation was co-organised by CityU and the Correctional Services Department on 25 October.
The event was officiated by Mr Herman Hu Shao-ming, Council Chairman of CityU, Mr Sin Yat-kin, Commissioner of Correctional Services, Mr Cheng Shing-lung, Chairman of Yan Chai Hospital, and Professor Linda Wong Lai Yeuk-lin, Director of Project Flame of CityU.
About 170 persons including 36 Outstanding NGO Volunteer Award recipients participated in the event.
