The campus wireless LAN (WLAN) is a flexible data communication system implemented as an extension to the wired network by the Computing Services Centre. With the aid of a notebook computer or handheld computer with a wireless LAN card inserted, staff and students alike can connect to the campus network and hence the Internet almost everywhere on campus.
