Quiet Buzzer - Timing and training system for Rehabilitation Centres

After visiting the local rehabilitation center, we found that the traditional timing method could be noisy and inconvenient, which causes a lot of trouble to the users and the staff. Therefore, we decided to design a whole new system that could be more centralized, quiet and user-friendly.

Our project aims to design and invent a better-centralized timing system for rehabilitation centers' training schedules. With the help of the handy remote, the staff could easily management the schedules and arrange the users in a more efficient way.

Our timing system can count and display the trainees' training time. It helps the staff in rehabilitation centers manage the training schedules of the patients in an easy and efficient way. It includes an NFC-capable remote control and a database/server powered by a Raspberry Pi.

Any device with Wifi or HDMI connection, such as TV, computer and smartphone, is able to use as a display unit for our system. The device will be connected to our lightweight web application for displaying the remaining time for all the registered seats.

Large font and the high contrast ratio is adopted in our user interface for a greater distinctness. This cross-platform design allows our system to be more flexible and adapt to different environment and training centers.
