Safety Supply Box

Safety Supply Box (SSB) is a box containing the basic personal protective equipment (PPE), materials and gears for emergency purposes such as chemical spillage powder, chemical resistant gloves and safety goggles, etc. LSU coordinates the purchase and maintains a limited amount of stocks available for departments to request subject to the needs. All items are subjected to charge based on the latest LSU Cost Recovery Form. In addition, LSU conducts regular checks on the SSB and assists the departments to replenish the items in the SSB on a half-yearly basis.

  1. Chemical resistant gloves with individual package, thickness 0.38mm, length: 33cm, size 9 (L)
  2. Chemical resistant gloves with individual package, thickness 0.38mm, length: 33cm, size 8 (M)
  3. Spill control agent (acid neutralizer)
  4. Spill control agent (caustic neutralizer)
  5. Spill control agent (solvent neutralizer)
  6. Chemical goggles, PC lens with 4 indirect ventilations holes, black headband clear lens
