LSU Services

Hazardous Gas Evaluation Services

Hazardous gases can be generated or leaked during laboratory processes, posing risks to both personnel and the environment. At LSU, we offer services for evaluating hazardous gases generated throughout experiments in our laboratories.

The monitoring equipment available in LSU are:
  1. MultiRAE Lite;
  2. MultiRAE 3000;
  3. QRAE3

Types of Hazardous Gas Evaluation Services::
  1. Carbon Monoxide (CO)
  2. Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN)
  3. Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
  4. Lower Explosive Limit (LEL)
  5. Oxygen (O2)
  6. Sulfur Dioxide (SO2)
  7. Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)

Monitoring equipment

Please note that our ability to provide these services is contingent upon the available technology and equipment at LSU.

If you experience discomfort or notice unpleasant odors from sinks, sump pumps, plant rooms, or ventilation systems, please contact the relevant offices for investigation.
