Dr. Zoe LENARD

Biography
Dr Lenard is passionate about all aspects of veterinary radiology, delivering quality services, mentoring and providing education. A graduate of the University of Sydney with first class Honours, she attained Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in Radiology in 2007 and has worked in academic and private specialist practice and been actively involved in teaching.
Dr Lenard has started two highly successful, multidisciplinary specialist private practices. She was foundational director in establishing Perth Veterinary Specialists, Perth's first specialist-only private veterinary group. In 2019, she was part of a small and passionate team who established Animalius, a specialist-only referral practice in the eastern suburbs of Perth. She loves building functional teams and exploring ways that positive teamwork improves outcomes in clinical practice, in teaching and in employment.
Along the way, she has been directly involved in resident training, undergraduate student teaching and teaching of graduate veterinarians key skills that improve imaging in their clinical setting.
Dr Lenard is a confident communicator and lecturer. She has had a longstanding involvement in many aspects of leadership of the Australian and New Zealand college of Veterinary Scientists and is the President of the College (2018-2021).
