Biography
Dr. Marwood graduated from the University of Bristol in England and worked for several years as a general practitioner vet in first opinion practice. Later, she interned in northwest England, where she developed her passion for diagnostic imaging. She then completed an imaging internship and later a residency at the University of Liverpool, UK. Once she completed her residency, she worked as a lecturer at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at Liverpool University. Before joining the CityU VMC, this experience led her to lead a department as Head of Service in Diagnostic Imaging in a busy private referral hospital in Surrey, England.
Dr. Marwood is highly committed to providing the best care for her patients. She enjoys all aspects of imaging, particularly in areas where she can develop her skills in MRI, neuroimaging, and anatomically complex cases. Her dedication extends beyond her patients as she is also invested and actively involved with clinical teaching, particularly at the undergraduate level, emphasising nurturing a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students. Additionally, she is involved in several research projects in her field, demonstrating her commitment to advancing veterinary medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Marwood enjoys a variety of interests and hobbies. She loves being outdoors, especially during long hikes by the sea. She is excited about exploring all the trails Hong Kong offers. She also has a passion for dancing and loves to travel to experience new cultures.
