On 16 December 2021, City University of Hong Kong Press hosted a book launch for The Electoral System and Voting Behaviour in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the CityU SCOPE TST East Learning Centre.

The authors of the book, Mr. Ivan CHOY Chi Keung (Senior Lecturer, Department of Government & Public Administration, Chinese University of Hong Kong), Dr. MA Ngok (Associate Professor, Department of Government & Public Administration, Chinese University of Hong Kong), and Mr. Chan, J.M (Graduate, Department of Government & Public Administration, Chinese University of Hong Kong) were all in attendance at the event. We were honored to share the book with Jasper TSANG (Former President of the Legislative Council), Ms. LAM Miu Yan (Media Veteran), and Mr. Terence Lin (Member of Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies) and welcomed them to share their views on the electoral system and discuss its significance.

During the event, the authors introduced the content of their new book and explained their intention and rationale for writing it. They also recalled their experiences of writing similar political titles in the past in addition to presenting their analysis of the electoral system in Hong Kong and its impact on governance.

This event attracted a lot of media coverage and positive feedback, highlighting the unique nature and timeliness of the book.
