PALSI - Orientation and Training
PALSI Leader Trainings
Faculty members of individual departments / divisions will send invitation to senior students who have performed well in particular courses. Talent and Education Development Office (TED) colleagues will start contacting the nominated PALSI Leaders.
PALSI Leaders meet with the corresponding group of PALSI Students for 2 hours per week, from Week 4 to Week 12. PALSI Leaders will assist their students to prepare for classes, formulate study plans and review course materials in order to help improve their learning skills and master the course content well.

Workshop for English For the Medium of Instruction (EFMI)
This workshop aims to enhance PALSI Leaders' proficiency in English, focusing on the specific linguistic and pedagogical skills required for teaching in an English-medium environment. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, PALSI Leaders will learn strategies to improve their communication, engage students more effectively, and create a more inclusive and dynamic learning atmosphere.

PALSI Registration Period: 24 January – 2 February 2025 via AIMS.
Steps to register via AIMS
- Login AIMS
- Click on “Student Services”
- Click on “On-line Application for In-house Student Development Courses”
- Select “Talent and Education Development Office” in the drop-box
- Press “Click to sort” before you apply for the session
- Choose the appropriate session and click the “Apply” button
- Click “Confirm” to complete the registration
