Dr. YAN Xu received the B.S. degree in electronic information engineering (with the highest honor) from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2016, the M.Eng. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2019, and Ph.D. degree in RF/MMIC Design from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2023. Before joining CityUHK, he was an assistant director of Anhui Transilica Microelectronics Co. Ltd. (ATM) from 2017 to 2018 and a research fellow and MMIC design team leader at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore from 2023 to 2024. Prof. YAN has engaged more than 10 times in tape-out on GaAs/GaN/CMOS/CMOS RF-SOI processes and authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and 5 patents.
