XIONG Wenbo (Abel) is currently a Part-time Research Assistant at the City University of Hong Kong's School of Law, specializing in International Economic Law, International Investment Law, Public International Law, and Chinese Law.
With nearly eight years of academic and research experience across both civil law and common law systems, he brings a deep understanding of diverse legal traditions.
Before his journey at CityUHK, he obtained an LLB degree from Hubei University of Economics (HBUE), Wuhan, China, where he also minored in English Translation and Interpretation. He later earned an LLM in Common Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Throughout his academic journey, he has gained practical experience through various internships and part-time roles in legal practice and research.
His research interests include, but are not limited to, Aviation Law, and Constitutional Law of the People's Republic of China (including Hong Kong Basic Law).

Mainly conduct research (especially data collection, coding, and analysis) in the fields of Chinese Company Law, Competition Law, Law & Economics.
