Objectives of the SR Music Ambassador Scheme:
Skill Development: Enhance musical abilities through structured guidance and training.
Performance Opportunities: Provide platforms for participants to showcase their talents at talent shows and community events.
Community Engagement: Foster connections with the community through music, such as performances at elderly centers.
Professional Growth: Offer feedback and assessments to support continuous improvement in musical skills.
Networking: Facilitate interactions with industry professionals to broaden horizons and build valuable connections.
Personal Development: Encourage self-expression, confidence building, and goal setting in a musical context.

Student Musicians
Eligibility
- Current CityUHK students (priority to current residents)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above
- Medium of instruction: English or Cantonese
Obligations
- Submit two reflective journals by May and December, documenting your progress and reflecting on your learning journey.
- Students achieving a +60% attendance rate for the training sessions, submitting both reflective journals, and receiving positive feedback from the instructor are eligible for a Normal Certificate. Those with a +90% attendance rate, both journals submitted, and positive feedback from the instructor qualify for a Platinum Certificate.

Program Application Details:
Application period begins from now to 29 October 2024, with ongoing admission interviews as needed. The application deadline for the SR Music Ambassador Scheme is precisely 29 October 2024 (Wednesday), at 12 noon. Complete the application form HERE.
Admission Confirmation:
Newly admitted SR Music Ambassador Scheme members will receive confirmation via email on 29 October 2024.
Important Notes:
- Please carefully review the terms & conditions and understand the program details, especially the required training schedule, before submitting your application.
- Incomplete applications lacking necessary supporting documents will not be considered.
- Late or incomplete submissions will not be processed.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for lessons.
- Applicants not contacted by early November should consider their application unsuccessful.
- Interviews may be conducted if applications exceed 50. Each student will be assigned one interview session, and no changes will be accommodated once enrolled.
- Attendance at all required workshops is mandatory for confirmed students. Unnotified absences without valid reasons will result in withdrawal of the application.
- The final decision on matching candidates rests with SRO.
