I feel very lucky as a member of Hall 8&JCH and love our hall very much. In the past year, our hall hosted lots of interesting and significant activities for our residents to enrich our study life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate some of these activities during my free time, which brings me funny, warmth, and friendship.
I would like to share some impressed hall activities that I have participated with you. For example, residences from different departments or countries have a hotpot in our hall. As we have the hotpot by ourselves, there are so many pleasures from purchasing, washing, cooking to cleaning up. On last Christmas Day, our hall master guided us to hike along Pat Sin Leng which is the longest path I have hiked in Hong Kong. Our hall tutor invited us to take the dance and Yoga classes that are interesting and really help our health.
The happiest thing is that our hall won the second prize in PEK Cup Inter-hall Table Tennis Competition. It is my great honor as a player of our hall. During training, my teammates gave me many helps to improve my skills and adjust my mindset. Besides, I encouraged myself to take part in the PEK sing contest, because it is my first time to sing on a public stage. Although I am not good at singing, I pay many efforts to practice with helps from our partners. Anyway, it is an unforgettable memory for me and I will keep it in my mind forever. Finally, I would like to sincerely appreciate the supports and helps from all residents and our hall master and wish all residents study well and have a happy hall life.
