Hello, everyone! This is Regina from Taiwan. It has been my fourth year living in hall 5. I meet lots of people from different cultural backgrounds and developed strong friendships here.
Residents in our hall shared their talents and skills by organizing various workshops, for example, foreign food and handcrafts, music and games. Every semester, we had lots of activity in different scales. Floor based but warm past-time like hot pot night or homemade dessert night. Hall based affair like Korean food cooking class and Poon Choi Feast. There’s even inter hall activity like PEK competition and Mid-Autumn festival.
Not only overseas residents, local people are also enthusiastic for showing us around Hong Kong. In the past few years, I had been to Cheung Chau island, Lion Rock, Nam Shan Estate with my hallmates. Those places are totally different with the impression I had in Hong Kong before I came here.
Being a senior resident in hall 5, I appreciate all the nice people I meet here and I am very pleased to be a consultant for the new residents. I believe that this would be a perfect ending for my last year living in hall and I wish all of us could have a wonderful hall life here.
