Chan Sui Kau Hall Chan Wing Fui Scholarships
Mr. Chau Kwun Wai
Last year, I was the floor representative and the basketball team manager. It was my pleasure to be in Hall 5 to meet various fabulous floormates and hallmates, who were local or coming from different countries like Mainland China, Malaysia, India and Thailand. Hall 5 is my second home and I am glad to be in the scholarship team this year to serve Hall 5 residents.
As a floor representative in previous academic year, I organized different floor-based activities with my roommate as I was a senior resident. Those faces were strange when I attended the floor meeting at the beginning of Semester. Therefore, we met and chatted together through different kinds of food nights and gaming activities. And now, we all are familiar with hall life and had good bonding as we lived together.
I was appointed as a PEK basketball team manager last year. Although I was not an expert in playing sports, Matthew, one of the hall 5 residence tutor last year, gave me a chance to be heavily involved in PEK but not just a cheering team members in the court. Our team had not won the champion in the competition, however, I have already tried my best to give direct support for Hall 5 with no regrets.
Hall 5 residents are nice and kind. Hope my hall life this year will be as fruitful as last year and I hope Hall 5 residents can get along with each other and treat each other as a family.
