Hall 10 Scholarships

Mr. JIN Guoliang

I am JIN Guoliang, the resident of hall 10. First, I would like to express my gratitude for rewarding me the hall 10 scholarship, it can be an approval for my two-year living experience and contributions in hall 10. And I must admit that I have learned a lot through the two years in hall 10.

I always regard the living experience in hall 10 to be comfortable. Since I moved in hall 10, I was surprised by the various activities. Starting from the welcome party, the interesting activities just came one by one. The activities themselves are quite attractive, so I just join and enjoy myself. For me, the hall activities take up a large part of me space time. It can really be a good wat to get to know more friend and enrich the life of collage. For example, the art class and cooking class, they all provide me a good chance to try something new and I always have a good time during these activities. In addition, the peck competitions are also remarkable, I join the basketball team and the running team, during the training, all the teammate work together and pay the effort the enhance our performance. We practiced our cooperation and build up the body in those trainings two or three times a week, which really improve me body health. And during the match, we play against other hall as a team, we form the strong friendship and get good marks for the hall 10. All these experiences are so meaningful for my collage life.

When it comes to the second year, I just thought that maybe I can also help with the organization. Therefor I just attend as the helper for the welcome party and other activities. It really gives me another experience, I just found being the helper doesn’t mean to be tired and not that funny, instead it is quite interesting and meaningful. For example, when I help with the planting group on the roof of AC2, doing the watering and some other planting work can be very enjoyable and I just learned a lot from the Mr Wong about the planting. Generally, I regard these to be the chasing of meaningful life and a good way to get along well with the others, instead of just joining but not enjoying the process.

Of course, everyone has its own way to live a colorful life. However, I strongly recommend you participate more in the hall life because it can give you a lot of remarkable and meaningful experience.
