Eligibility
- Newly admitted Full-time non-local students studying in Masters’ programmes within a normal study period in Academic Year 2024/25
Student Residence Compound
Applicants can indicate their preference of Student Residence compound, i.e., Kowloon Tong Compound and Ma On Shan Compound.
- Applicants can change their preferred compound on AIMS up to the application deadline, but NO amendment is allowed afterwards.
- Late request on changing preference will NOT be entertained.
- Lottery shall be applied if demand surpassing supply.

Full residential year hall places are to be offered to residents. Hall lodging fees are collected on a semester basis. Hall lodging fees of residential year 2024/25 are payable in two instalments to cover the whole residential period. 1st instalment and 2nd instalment will be charged in September and January respectively.

Please login AIMS -> Student Services -> Student Residence -> One-off Ad-hoc Student Residence Application (Master's (Taught Postgraduate) Programmes) to submit the application by the deadline.
Late application / incomplete application will not be accepted.
Acceptance of Hall Offer
Upon the announcement of hall application result, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable confirmation fee of $2,200 before a specified date to confirm their acceptance of hall offers. Failure to pay the Confirmation Fee within the specified time period will imply forfeiture of the offer.
Room Allocation
Lot-drawing is used for allocating halls and rooms. Students will be assigned to double rooms.

(B) Nam Shan Yuen Application for Students from Masters’ Programmes in 2024/25

Introduction
A number of Senior Staff Quarters at Nam Shan Yuen will be turned into rental accommodations for full-time Non-local Students from Master’s (Taught Postgraduate) Programmes.
Location
Nam Shan Yuen is located on the south-western corner of the Campus site at 23 Nam Shan Chuen Road. The estate is used as senior staff quarters and consists of 2 blocks of low rise residential building with 8 storeys each.
G/F, Block 2, 23 Nam Shan Chuen Road, Kowloon.

Submit Applications
- The application system will be open from August 16 to August 21, 2024, until 23:59 HKT.
- Please login AIMS > Student Services > Student Residence > Nam Shan Yuen Application and follow the required to complete the application.
- Students must form a group of seven or eight of the same gender to submit an application and decide the share of the license fee.
- Group application and the allocation of flats is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Final assignments will be subject to flat availability and determined by the successful payment of the entire group.

Payment and Contract Arrangement
- Upon the announcement of the application results via email, all applicants in the same group are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable 11-month license fee plus a one-month deposit within 24 hours to confirm their acceptance of the hall offer.
- Ensure you have read and understood the License Agreement and Residents’ Handbook before making the payment.
- Payment can be settled via CityUPay. Payment link and details will be announced to applicants separately.
- You are required to sign the License Agreement upon check-in.
