Inbound Exchange Students
The offer of bed space is subject to the availability and nomination by the exchange coordinators. There is no guarantee that bed spaces will be granted to applicants. The period of stay will be confined to the exchange term as agreed by City University of Hong Kong and the home university.
Incoming Bachelor's Degree Exchange Students shall be allocated hall residence in Ma On Shan Compound.
Incoming Bachelor's Degree exchange student who wish to apply for an extension of exchange study should submit hall application before the deadline specified by the Student Residence Office. There is no guarantee that bed spaces for extension of stay will be granted.

- Students interested in living in the Student Residence should read and agree to comply with the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedure formulated by the University and the Regulations Governing Student Residence in the Student Residence before submitting their application.

Students who are not offered a place in on-campus student residence or prefer living away from campus, they are strongly advised to search/secure their off-campus accommodation at least one month before the semester begins. Details about off-campus accommodation are available at the SRO website .
Upon result announcement, successful applicants are required to pay the full hall lodging fee “in one go” by a specified deadline shown in the email about the hall offer. The payment is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be settled by the deadline.
Failure to pay the hall lodging fee within the time period will imply forfeiture of the offer.
The Student Residence (Ma On Shan Compound) houses UG students in shared double rooms solely.
Rooms will be randomly assigned by the system and final room assignments will be subject to room availability and hall admission policies.
Students who have physical disabilities, medical reasons or special needs with supporting documents should enclose them in the hall application for case-by-case consideration and arrangement.
