Chocolate Mochi Workshop

The Chocolate Mochi Workshop was a delightful gathering where residents came together to explore the art of making chocolate mochi. The event provided a hands-on learning experience, led by skilled instructors who guided participants through each step of the process. Residents were excited to mix and knead the dough, fill it with rich chocolate, and shape their mochi creations.

Special Hall Night Talk Series (No.1)

Full House for our First Special Hall Night Talk! We’re glad to have Mr. Raymond Mak to share his journey in the modern transformative agricultural towards sustainability followed by Thomas with his HK Tech 300 program socialization. Tug-of-war

Before the competition, our TOW players engaged in several practice sessions, ensuring we were fully prepared. On the big day, excitement filled the air as the women’s team posed for a group photo before the event began. In addition to the players, many volunteering residents joined as our enthusiastic cheering team. We faced Hall 7 in the semi-final and were thrilled when our women's team advanced to the final. After discussing some strategic moves, our team put in an exceptional performance and ultimately won the championship! Congratulations to our amazing women's team for their hard-earned victory!

Vibrant Batik Day

On the vibrant Batik Day, participants explored the intricate art of batik-making and enjoyed refreshing Indonesian fruit drinks. This event celebrated cultural diversity and fostered a sense of community.

Hall 5

Board game night

All Hall 5 Game Masters gathered around the tables. The night was filled with laughter and friendly competition, creating a lively and unforgettable experience for everyone.

Tug-of-war

Hall 6 residents are vigorously trained and compete in the thrilling sport of tug of war. Through dedicated practice and teamwork, they hone their strength and coordination, showcasing their competitive spirit in gripping battles of strength and strategy, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship within our community.

Planking & Rope Skipping Competition

Our annual Planking & Rope Skipping Competition finals took place on October 10th. Everyone gave it their all and truly pushed their limits! Let’s keep that energy going and stay fit and healthy together! 

Hall 8 & JCH

Surfing

On 29th September 2024, we organized a successful surfing activity at Big Wave Bay, following a scenic hike at Dragon’s Back. The weather was perfect, and participants enjoyed both surfing and relaxing on the beach. The event fostered a strong sense of community, with everyone engaging in fun conversations and games and enjoying snacks. It was a day filled with energy, relaxation, and bonding.

Wuddies Party

The Wuddies Party on October 5, 2024, was a highlight for Hall 9. It featured ice-breaking games, an awards ceremony, and performances. Professor Lau announced competition winners, and the night ended with a lucky draw, pizza, and drinks. The event brought joy and showcased students' talents.

Hall 10

Adventure Club

The Adventure Club created unforgettable memories for the residents by celebrating the Sik Sik Yuen Centennial Carnival at Wong Tai Sin and exploring the beauty of Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden.

Hall 11

Tug-of-war

Hall 11’s unique tradition, Eleven Day, brought a special touch to the 11th, with floor representatives preparing delicious croissants for all residents. Despite the day being a public holiday, and many residents not staying in the hall, every croissant was happily given out. This thoughtful gesture provided a small yet delightful break during the busy midterm period, reminding everyone of the supportive and close-knit Hall 11 community.
