Experience encountered during the on-site studies is crucial for students and junior professionals engaged in environmental sciences. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, online teaching and learning activities substituted physical ones. Virtual reality (VR) offers students an alternative to a physical visit to the facilities during and beyond the pandemic.
This VR field trip takes you to a fish raft at Tai Tau Chau Fish Culture Zone in Hong Kong. Water and sediment monitoring and sampling procedures are demonstrated in the marine coastal environment. This site provides detailed information on the following activities:
