The School of Law of City University of Hong Kong is a premier law school with a history of excellence and the vision to become one of the great law schools in the Asia-Pacific region. The mission of the School is to provide students with an excellent education and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge. The School seeks to achieve this objective through teaching, research, international publications, and specialist projects. With the joint efforts of staff and students, the School has established expertise in a wide range of fields including Chinese law, comparative law, Hong Kong Basic Law, commercial law, environmental law, constitutional law, human rights, criminal justice, WTO law, law and technology, international trade and investment law, international economic law, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. 

The School has also developed close links with its counterparts on the Mainland, in Europe, North America and across the Asia-Pacific region.  Students have many opportunities to gain a global perspective in the study of law through various activities organized by the School, such as the Global Legal Education and Awareness Project (G-LEAP), Legal Placement, and mooting competitions.
