Anti-drug awareness does not only mean staying away from drugs but also early identification of hidden drug abusers and encouraging early help-seeking. The Narcotics Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force has established the 'Leadership Institute on Narcotics' that recruits secondary and university students from across the territory as mentees each year. The mentees receive training from experts on the design and implementation of anti-drug activities and assist peers in overcoming the difficulties they face in their development and resisting the temptation of drugs.
