Shengming obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology majoring in Material Science. Then he joined Prof. Xu Rong’s group in Nanyang Technological university to pursue his PhD degree where he worked mainly on designing novel nanocomposites with engineered interface for photo/electro-catalytic water splitting. After graduating, he has spent one year working on the preparation of hybrid membrane for gas separation. His current research topic is focused on the combination of photocatalytic system and membrane separation process to develop efficient and low-cost water cleaning system.
