A welcoming briefing for PHY Student Ambassadors 2021/22 was held on 20 August 2021. There are 11 students joining the program this year. These 11 Ambassadors will serve as peer consultants of the new students, and they will also have opportunities to co-host different activities with the Department.
During the welcoming briefing, Dr Wing Chi Yu and Dr Yu Chai, the Student Ambassador Coordinators, greeted the Ambassadors with a short introduction of the program objectives and potential upcoming activities. The Ambassadors introduced themselves to each other, and some shared their experiences as student mentors. They also brainstormed student activities for this year.
It was a fruitful gathering and everyone was looking forward to the new semester~
PHY Student Ambassador Enrichment Program
The Department launched the PHY Student Ambassador Enrichment Program in 2020/21. The Program aims at recruiting passionate students to co-host the Department’s learning support network and the branding promotion initiatives, while developing leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Students could then better prepare themselves for future job hunting and academic interviews.
