PHY Student Connect: Welcome Gathering 2019

To welcome new students joining the PHY family in the new academic year, a Welcome Gathering was held on 16 September 2019 at the PHY General Office reception area. Around 40 PHY students and faculty members joined the gathering.

During the gathering, students were able to make new friends, chat with their fellow classmates, meet some of their teachers, and start building their network. New students have also got the chance to meet their student mentors and get some tips from senior students, helping them to get ready for the coming semesters. Prof Xun-Li Wang, the Head of Department, also presented the certificates to the students on the Dean’s list for last semester.

Tea gatherings were organized for our students from time to time. All PHY students were invited to join.
