This course aims to develop the students' ability to integrate and apply their knowledge acquired from this and other courses in the formulation and implementation of projects and evaluate, plan and manage engineering and industrial projects.

To reflect the CILO's listed above, different individual and group based coursework that requires the students to understand and apply the project management concepts and techniques learned in class will be assigned. In particular, the major assignment or Term Paper prescribed will seek to assess students’ CILO no. C1, C3 and C4. The assessment will have equal weighting for coursework and examination to emphasize the importance of continuous learning.

For a student to pass the course, at least 30% of the maximum mark for the examination should be obtained.
