Course Aims

This course aims to develop research students’ academic skills and research capacities through reading representative scholarly literature in the English language on a relevant topic of their own choosing. It lays the foundation for students to broaden their horizon on their scholarly fields on international levels in the areas of language, literature, history, religion, philosophy, arts, culture, and cultural heritage studies. Through a critical assessment of the literature in their fields, the course provides solid training for research students to conduct future research designs through textual analysis and criticism, data collection, literature review and analysis in their particular methodological approaches.
