Named Chair Professorships represent one of the highest honours that the University can bestow on its academics. It is also a lasting tribute to the donor who establishes the endowment or financially supports the Scheme. The donor’s name is henceforth prominently associated with the professorship holder.

Innovations for physical fitness through AI
Two new AI technologies that support physical fitness for students and teachers have been developed by the Centre for Intelligent Multidimensional Data Analysis (CIMDA) at CityU. Professor Yan Hong, Wong Chun Hong Professor of Data Engineering, is the Director of CIMDA.
