CityU held the MNE Research Day 2024 on 17 April at Faculty Lounge, 9/F, Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Complex, City University of Hong Kong. The event provides an opportunity for our research students to gather together and have an academic sharing exchange regarding to their group projects. 

It was our great honour to have Prof Chin PAN’s and Prof Yong YANG’s opening speech. Meanwhile, it was glad to see our alumni, Prof Jing LI, who is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, shared her precious experience on the researching experience. 
This year, more than 50 participants joined the event to have the poster competition. There are 7 academic posters from students with their professors, Prof. Walid DAOUD, Prof Ji-jung Kai, Prof Yong YANG, Prof Shijun ZHAO and Prof Pingan ZHU, giving our students invaluable insights into the Engineering industry.
