The Information Day held last Saturday was a great success for the MNE Department. We were all very excited to have on-campus activities resumed since 2019, so we could interact and communicate with the visitors with our new jackets. The Admission Consultation Session and the Alumni Sharing Session were held in hybrid mode in the morning, while two talks in the areas of Mechanical Engineering / Nuclear and Risk Engineering and our new major Aerospace Engineering, as well as the CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre Guided Virtual Tour were held via Zoom in the afternoon. The event has attracted over 300 participants (including prospective students and parents), a full-house one as shown in the picture attached, on the Information Day. This year, it was our first time to invite one of our current PhD students (who was our former M.E. graduate) to share some tips and experiences with our visitors. We would like to thank all the staff, faculty members and students who have contributed to this important event in their weekend holiday.
