On the 26th of October, the department invited ARUP, an international engineering consultant firm, to share the speciality discipline of fire and acoustic engineering with students.
The talk started with our deputy career coordinator Dr ZHAO, Shijun introducing both speakers, Ms Tracy Pang (Associate Director - fire engineering) and Mr Henry Chan (Associate Director - acoustic engineering). Then both speakers share with us the diversity of fire and acoustics engineering as an engineering speciality and life at ARUP in hong kong as well as oversea projects.
