The computer features an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11700 processor, 64GB of RAM, and Nvidia RTX A5000 graphics card. This setup is designed to handle complex computations, large data sets, and intensive machine learning tasks with ease.

Our high-performance computer is equipped with the pre-installed "Stable Diffusion" model - a state-of-the-art, deep learning text-to-image generator released in 2022. With this advanced tool, you can create images from textual prompts, providing a powerful way to visualize concepts and ideas.

Moreover, the system allows for the installation of different models to further refine your image output. This flexibility enables you to customize the tool according to your specific project needs and achieve the best possible results. Harness the power of AI and elevate your research with our high-performance computer.

Note: #Please contact the IT Help Desk before using the AI Computer for applications/usages other than Stable Diffusion.

Eligible Users

All CityU students, staff of programmes leading to CityU awards including associate degree, bachelor's degree and postgraduate degree.

Booking Policy

  • Reservations are limited to a maximum of 8 hours per week.
  • Bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance.
  • To ensure fair access to all eligible users, the facilities are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The facilities are used only for lawful purposes. No one will be permitted to use the facilities to generate the image that are against the law, obscene, in violation of another’s intellectual property rights.
  • All booking requests are subject to approval based on scheduling and availability. The Library reserves the right to refuse any requests for any reason.
