Information Space is an area designed to create a conducive area for more interactive and participatory learning as well as small group teaching. Students can use the PC workstations to explore the information space and to work on their assignments there.

About 80 PC workstations(including 10 iMac) equipped with a wide range of software tools including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, graphics, desk top publishing, web authoring, statistical analysis and programming languages, etc. are available here. For details, please visit the software list of Computing Services Centre (CSC). Current CityU staff and students can use the PC workstations by logging in with their CityU Electronic ID. Advance booking for individual PC workstations are available to eligible students via the Resource Booker. Please see Rules for Reserving Oval & Information Space Workstation for details.

Most of the PC workstations are connected to laser printers. Current CityU staff and students are entitled to print within his/her quota limit as assigned by Computing Services Centre. Please see CSC's guidelines for laser printing for details.
There are two laser printers for Quota Controlled Fast Print Queue. Current CityU students can print by using of their print quota. Printing papers are provided for this service. For details, please refer to the Printing Steps for IS and Oval Area Workstation Users and Notebook Computer Users. To Connect to the Octopus-card-operated network printers, please refer to the Fast Printing Service Guideline for Oval & IS Workstation Computer Users.
There is a 3D Scanner and Virtual Reality facilities & services (CAVE) at the Discovery Corner. Advance booking for individual 3D Scanners & CAVE are available to eligible students via the Library Facilities Booking System. Please see Rules for Reserving 3D Scanners / Workstations for details.
