The book talk on “The Academic: Three Generations of Film Directors” was held on 30 November 2017 in collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong Press.
In this special occasion, directors from three generations gathered to exchange interesting dialogues on film making. The moderator, Mr. Derek CHIU Sung-kee, Assistant Professor of School of Creative Media and the Producer of <Mad World>, together with the speakers Miss Kearen PANG Sau-wai, Multimedia producer, actress and director, Mr. WONG Chun, Director of <Mad World>, and Miss TAM Wai-ching, Director of short film <The Little One>, shared their bittersweet experiences in directing their first movie, and took audience behind the scene to get a real sense of what it takes to be a film director.
The book talk was video-recorded by the Library and will be made available especially for those who was not able to come to the talk.
