Progress and Development of OAPS
OAPS 2013 Album

OAPS is a joint initiative between the Library and the academic departments to collect students' quality papers, preserve them in digital format and share them within the University and beyond so as to provide perpetual access to our students' research output. 2013 marks the eighth anniversary of the project. With the dedication and support of the academic departments, the Library has collected 53 best papers nominated by 12 departments. Since 2005, 294 outstanding papers by CityU students have been collected and are available for loan in the Library's Semi-Closed Collection and have been digitized and are accessible via the CityU Institutional Repository http://dspace.cityu.edu.hk/. OAPS has developed a collaborative partnership with universities in the United States and various regions in the Asia-Pacific rim, such as Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, and an OAPS Portal site has been set up and harvested 2,630 outstanding academic papers as of April 2013 from its member institutions.
