In collaboration with Dr. Louisa Wei of the School of Creative Media and City University of Hong Kong Press(CityU Press), the Library launched an exhibition showcasing the documentaries produced by Dr. Wei and her various publications at the Library Multi-purpose Lobby. Her award-winning documentary Golden Gate Girl (《金門銀光夢》) (2014), and her books published by CityU Press Cinema: East and West (《東西方電影》) (2014) and Wang Shiwei: a reform in thinking (《王實味—文藝整風與思想改造》) (2016) were highlighted along with her other written works on pioneering female filmmakers in early Chinese cinema and movie scripts. A number of selected female directors in world film history were also introduced at the exhibition. Online questionnaire in relation to the exhibition was conducted.
