As part of a series of outside classroom learning activities designed for a resource-based learning approach, the Library was honored to have invited Mr. Dai Kai-chee, a renowned watercolor painter in Hong Kong, to exhibit more than 30 of his watercolor paintings at the Multi-purpose Lobby of the Library.
Activities such as multimedia broadcasting, thematic book displays and painting workshops were organized to introduce students to art appreciation. Two watercolor painting workshops in beginning and advanced level were organized to introduce to participants the basic skills of watercolor painting and the way to create a piece of artwork. Each participant received an exquisite album of watercolor paintings by Mr. Dai after the workshops.
