Mr. Wong Chi-ching, owner of the secondhand bookshop "Classic Novel Association" (古伕小說會) established in 1961, generously donated to CityU a number of old land deeds. The old land deeds dated back to the period of Ming Dynasty and during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong in the 1940s.They are of high research values in the history and land ownership in Ming Dynasty and Hong Kong for existing and future scholars. A ceremony was held on 24 July 2014 to acknowledge the donations.
