This course aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to build healthy and long-lasting interpersonal relationships, both in romance and at work. Students are introduced to concepts and theories of human love, sexuality and relationships from a cross-cultural and psychological perspective. They learn how to integrate psychological knowledge of human relationships with the professional ethics of different disciplines, and how to deal with interpersonal and work-related problems. The course also sharpens students’ critical-thinking, problem-solving and team-work skills through stimulating activities that encourage them to analyse contemporary issues related to love and sexuality.
