Download and Use of the CityU Mobile .apk file

The CityU Mobile is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Users should download and install the CityU Mobile from these official app stores whenever possible.

Use of the .apk File

The CityU Mobile is also provided as an .apk file for users who cannot access Google Play on their mobile devices. By downloading and/or installing the .apk file, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The .apk file should only be downloaded from the official CityUHK website.
• You should only install the .apk file on devices where access to Google Play is not possible.
• Knowing that your device model is not officially supported, CityUHK is not responsible for:
  • Ensuring that the .apk file is compatible to your mobile device.
  • Any data loss or damage that may occur as a result of downloading, installing, or using the .apk file.

And you also agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Use the app for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
• Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the app to any third party.
• Use the app in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair CityUHK's servers or network.

Updates and Modifications

CityUHK may, at its sole discretion, provide updates, enhancements, or modifications to the CityU Mobile. You are required to download the new version of the .apk file and reinstall it yourself.
