CityU Tiger Workshop: Ace an Interview

Gaining mastery in interview and presentation skills is crucial for individuals pursuing scholarships, exchange programmes, or internships. In a specially designed workshop, Ms. Ruby Tam provided participants with invaluable abilities such as creating an impressive CV, effectively addressing personal and competency-based questions using the Situation, Task, Action, and Result (STAR) technique, and excelling in group interviews.
Participants were urged to engage actively during the workshop by pinpointing key elements of an effective personal statement, sharing personal experiences and moments of pride, and practicing self-introductions among themselves. Ms Tam was also on hand to address inquiries and provide consultation for interested students.
