Through Dr. Ng’s sharing and his illustration of the case about AI pet face recognition, tiger students were reminded about the importance of developing their core competencies to fit into the tech industry. They also learned about the prospect of working in the tech industry and the good engineering practices. It is important to define a problem early and make adjustments specific to your application instead of reinventing the wheel. The talk was concluded with a fruitful discussion, question and answer session.
