Around 200 Tiger students embarked on their journey to become future leaders were greeted at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in a ceremony both on campus and online on 29 September. At the ceremony, Tiger students gained vital information about featured activities of the programme, and new insights from distinguished scholars and dedicated videos.
It was an honour to have Professor Way Kuo (CityU President), Professor Christian Wagner (Provost), Professor Julie Li (Associate Provost), Professor Chan Chi Hou (Director of Talent and Education Development), Dr Kwok Chi Wai (Director of Alumni Relations), Ms Tricia Chong (Director of Knowledge Transfer), deans of colleges and schools, and department heads to welcome and congratulate the Tiger students.
By virtue of President Kuo’s inspirational remarks, students were made aware of the significance of the word “question” - the spirit of raising questions and exploring for answers, as presented in the CityU anthem.
