Dr. Lana Lo is a seasoned IT professional with extensive management experience in Information Technology and Digitalization. She is a leader with proven track record of success in leading digital transformation, delivering high-valued IT solutions to business users and customers, and aligning technology with strategies of the business units. Lana is a recognized industry practitioner as full member of Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) and executive committee members of some organization of HKCS.

Lana has been working in senior management positions with major corporations in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the University, she was Chief Information Systems Services Manager of MTR Corporation to direct the planning and delivery of digital and IT solutions, including their on-going enhancements and support to ensure the large IT portfolio creates business values. She led corporate transformation with digital innovation as a key enabler to instil new way of working. She also held other positions in the Corporation overseeing the IT Strategy, enterprise architecting as well as business-IT engagement. Business areas she has experience span from construction, operations, revenue, property, marketing and customer experience, human resources and finance.

Prior to this position, she worked for the Hong Kong Jockey Club responsible for portfolios of IT services covering Analytics, Customer Relationship Management. She was responsible for managing large scale IT projects to support corporate strategies and enable business to derive value from data.

Lana holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from City University of Hong Kong and a master's degree in Business Administration from Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained her doctorate degree from City University of Hong Kong. Her research area was about adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in organization on back office processes.
