Always keep personal data, such as IDs, Address and Phone, and financial information private
Change your password regularly and enable two-factor authentication if available
Never click on any suspicious link or attachment in emails or instant messages
Beware of suspicious phone calls and instant messaging scams
If the log-in process of any app/website uses the single-sign-on feature of another social media platform, remember to update the security setting of that platform to remove such connection when the app/website is no longer used
Keep your mobile apps up-to-date
Regularly review your login history for any abnormal activities
